My words and my pictures. All I have

Freedom to breathe

I’ve been studying for hours. Yawn. I’ve gotten some scrapbooking done. Yawn. I still have to read some more before I can finally go to bed (it’s two a.m. here). Yawn.

I love these shots, and I just can’t wait to go shooting tomorrow. That’s a feeling I missed! It’s good to be back to my usual self. Enjoy these, and thanks for visiting, liking, commenting and subscribing!

  1. Beautiful snaps, I like the mood being conveyed through these..

  2. Gorgeous! My favorite is the first one of the crane silhouetted against the sky (the second photo from the top).

  3. Very nice!Love the character of the dock in the first one.

  4. Excellent stuff. I’m loving the the wrecked and ruined walkway (the first image) such an excellently highlighted mossy green lying in contrast against the sea blue. Beautiful

    • Thanks, Astra! I loved it, too. It was just the perfect time to catch it, with the sun shinning on the most and highlighting the only bit of color on the poor, forsaken jetty.

  5. great shots, the old docks are my faves. Enjoy the shutter time..:-))

  6. Love these dock pictures! They never get old.

  7. I really like the perspective the picture of the dock/pier with the red railing gives. The tone and mood are very cool.

    • Glad you like it! I wish I’d gotten the horizon a little bit more in focus, but I like it a lot anyway. You live, you learn. I loved the pastel sky we had that day, too, it was so soothing.

  8. These are all wonderful. The fourth one of the pier really drew me in. I want to walk on it. 🙂

    • Thanks, Robin! I’d like to walk on it, too, but I’m not sure I wouldn’t end up in the water with the camera. It makes me sad to think of it, because I used to run on it when I was a child. Wherever did the last fifteen years go?

  11. I love the old jetty. Oh how I’d love to be sat on the end of it with my feet dangling over the side. 🙂
