My words and my pictures. All I have

Communion

I’m one
and I’m here

I’m a cloud
I’m a ripple
I’m a pebble
I’m sand on the beach
and salt in the water

I’m a bird
watching a blue sky
flying over a blue sea

I’m strong wings
that support my soul

My eye’s a lense
and within me
beauty is immortal

  1. Love this. Great colors and light.. and I love how clean it is, not cliche either despite the subject, colors make it, well done

    • Thanks, Anna! I don’t think I could have managed to take a cliché shot of this sunset in particular, it was so magical, colorful and peaceful.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!

  2. Wow – stunning photo that goes so well with those lovely words of yours. Truly poetic.

  3. Beautiful words, beautiful photograph.

  4. Beautiful picture and beautiful words 🙂

  5. Wonderful post. The words and photo are well meshed.

    • Thanks! I wrote the poem a few days ago, and waited (I never post them straight away because I keep tweaking and changing things). And then I witnessed my magical Saturday sunset, and from all the shots I took I just knew this one was meant to go with the poem as soon as I saw it. There’s magic in chaos :).

  6. Great Shoot,,, wonderfull colour… 🙂

  7. Beautiful words and a magical photo capture to go with them. 🙂

  8. Oooh! I love the colors and the motion. The pictures look like paintings 😀 The poem goes very well with the photographs. So pretty!

    • Thank you! I’m really happy they turned out sort of like impressionistic paintings. That’s the style I would have painted if I had any skills for that branch of art. Glad you liked my poem, too!
