My words and my pictures. All I have

Flame vine green.

Here’s the second half of the Flame vine leaves sots. I hope you aren’t bored of seeing leaves by now. I came back from the harbor a couple of hours ago –dead beat from standing and walking for two hours with my camera in hand– so there’ll be some harbor shots soon. Stay tuned, and enjoy!

  1. It’s not possible to be bored of leafy shots.
This seems like it was a very ambitious project with all of the lighting.
I’m often told that too much light can ruin a close up but you handled this very well.
I really like these shots, all of them

    • Thanks for the kind words; I’m so happy there are readers who enjoyed the leafy show :).
It all depends on the time of day. Afternoon light can shed disastrous results, but morning light rarely fails. I love how the shade from other trees made patches of light and shadow on the leaves. The rule for photography is “get up early, and whatever you want to shoot will most likely work”. Except for sunsets, of course :).
Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  2. Excellent as ever. The way you play with the light in these images is masterful.
    Much Love

    • Coming from a master in his own department, that is one big compliment, Astra :). I had lots of fun watching and shooting the play of light and shadow on these little leaves for a couple of days. At first I was annoyed by the wind (did I ever mention Argentina is VERY windy?), but after a while I realized that only made the show more interesting – so long as I could keep the shots from being blurry.

  3. Gorgeous photos…again! : )
BTW, I awarded you with the Versatile Blogger Award! It is a fun little award passed around within the blogging community. Here is the shortlink: I hope you enjoy and I look forward to reading more of your posts in the days to come. : )
    Just Ramblin’

  4. What a beautiful blog & pictures..between you & astrawally there shouldn’t be any other photographers in the world. Gonna add you both to my blog roll!

    • LOL. That is one huge overstatement. I’m just in the early days of my learning curve, and I’m making lots of mistakes and learning from them. There are LOTS of photographers out there who have been taking pictures for years, and therefore have more practice and do it better than me.
My only claim is that I love photography and I’ll do everything I can to get better at it every day for the rest of my life.
Thanks for dropping by, and for your kind words on my work :).

  5. Your work is great – very inspirational – Keep going!

    • Thanks! I think that’s the best compliment any artist can receive, to be told that their work is inspiring. Your photography is great and inspiring, too.
      Thanks for dropping by!
